Big and heavy, not a ordinary household router, this is a beast !
Overall footprint and ports layout same like the RT-AC5300, except this beast has complete different internal hardware CPU, RAM size, WiFi radio, 8 LAN ports, plus the custom "ROG Rapture" branded firmware (see above video)
This high-end "geng" router target for those who is looking for good coverage for a big area, good wireless signal penetration, and serious gamers. It should perform well as the main base for AiMesh setup/configuration --> this is part of the main reason I pulled it out from storeroom after so long, to play/test with the AiMesh soon ...

This may not be my daily router as it seems to be overkill for my kind of home usage, also looking at the unusual size, er ... Well, I hope ASUS will continue to make "beast" router, perhaps slightly smaller and nicer footprint
