Product information & reference:

Big and heavy, not a ordinary household router, this is a beast ! surprised

Overall footprint and ports layout same like the RT-AC5300, except this beast has complete different internal hardware CPU, RAM size, WiFi radio, 8 LAN ports, plus the custom "ROG Rapture" branded firmware (see above video) surprised

This high-end "geng" router target for those who is looking for good coverage for a big area, good wireless signal penetration, and serious gamers.  It should perform well as the main base for AiMesh setup/configuration --> this is part of the main reason I pulled it out from storeroom after so long, to play/test with the AiMesh soon ...

I like the ROG logo, took some photos using camera filter smile :

This may not be my daily router as it seems to be overkill for my kind of home usage, also looking at the unusual size, er ... foot-in-mouth   Well, I hope ASUS will continue to make "beast" router, perhaps slightly smaller and nicer footprint tongue-out

Let's see how this Broadcom BCM4366E all-in-1 radio chip (3-bands) wireless performance based on my home setup and testings as follows :
